ReviewCloud makes its home on the Silicon Prairie. America’s best kept secret.

In July 2016, we got a chance to sit down with Rod Armstrong from Silicon Prairie News and rap about start-ups in Nebraska, Kidwell’s Innovation Group and, of course, employee engagement.

We know there was a need to for performance reviews to become more. We wanted them to actually promote performance, rather than serve as a low-quality backward-looking time-suck. So, we analyzed the broken processes out there. We sought to understand why they persist, rather then embrace innovation. We broke it all down. We took the best parts of traditional performance management systems. Then, we combined them with innovative strategies designed to help managers look forward. Combined with highly-functional, light-weight software, ReviewCloud was born.

We’re proud to say the Silicon Prairie is our home. Lincoln, Nebraska is home to many successful research and Human Resources consulting firms. Names like TalentPlus, Kenexa and National Research Corporation spring to mind. It is also the home of many successful tech start-ups, like HudlSpreetail, Nobl and MacPractice.

Community support from companies like Nelnet, Tabitha, the University of Nebraska Innovation Campus, Union Bank and Trust, Fuse Coworking and others is amazing. There is a real palpable sense that we each want the other to succeed. The reason is simple. This is our home. These are our friends. We’re raising our families here. If we can help workplaces become better places, we help our communities become better places. It’s as simple as that.

But the way, if you know a Husker who is far from home, maybe they would consider a return. Please share a link to Get Back to the Good Life with them. We’d appreciate it. And so will they.
